austenlennon Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 I just pointed the customers domain to his new shop and now realise that that is not so easy. I set the shop up on a temporary sub.domain... http://shop.austenlennon.co.uk/ and have pointed the domain to the hosting folder. http://www.expresscateringequipment.co.uk/ and all that works.... but the internals all still go to my sub domain... I am new to this..... sorry.
Guest Posted December 6, 2012 Posted December 6, 2012 @@austenlennon Ok, I am not sure what you saying. But, if you are trying to take the new cart out of the sub domain then you will need to change the TWO configure.php files to reflect the changes. Then, your when a customer enters your domain name, it should open your new cart. (ensure you move the old cart to a sub-directory) Chris
austenlennon Posted December 6, 2012 Author Posted December 6, 2012 HI, yes, I think you have answered my question..... I set up my client's shop on the sub-domain..... and that subdomain was just for the setup.... now, all I have to do is; point the client's domain to the shop folder on my hosting and change the two configure files... ? yes?
