sephro Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 Hello, I'm having an issue with a website that is using oscommerce. The owner of the website can't see the admin page from a laptop of his. I tried from other computers and the admin page is working and is showing perfectly. He either sees a blank page or the page won't load, in different browsers, chrome, firefox etc. Here is the admin: [removed] If anyone has an idea of what could be wrong with that laptop. It's brand new, it has legal Windows licence, default firewall, a poor antivirus software. The thing is, I have installed some protection scripts after the website got hacked not so long ago. I thought that the laptop got banned for "hacking attempts" or things like this. What do you guys think?
burt Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 What do you guys think? Your admin works fine. I suggest you contact a moderator NOW to get them to remove your admin URL. I also suggest to you to rename the admin area NOW, as it is completely open to anyone who knows how. I suggest to you that the latest customer "R----- C-----" who spent "336 RON" as well as the other customers would be very unhappy knowing their details are accessible to all.
sephro Posted December 5, 2012 Author Posted December 5, 2012 But doesn't require login details, how you got in?
Guest Posted December 5, 2012 Posted December 5, 2012 @@sephro The version of osCommerce you are using is very susceptible to intrusion because you have not secured your admin area. Secure you site before it is hacked. Chris
