Image Keeps Breaking Navigation In IE9-Please Help

just finishing off this site and I added an image for facebook into my navbar...the code I used is-

the first image is how it looks in FF & Chrome-

 

and the second, broken navbar one is in IE9 (of course)....

 

I'm not sure exactly what to fix/edit to make the navigation show behind the image in IE9...
