Guest
Hmmm, I am going to place GV into an interest bearing account so I need to know if anyone has written anything that shows: 1) Total current GV outstanding (sent not redeemed, and not sent) 2) Total current GV outstanding (sent but not redeemed) 3) Total current GV outstanding (not-sent, not-redeemed) 4) View all non-redeemed, not sent 5) View all non-redeemed, sent (can already be done, but not separate) 6) View all redeemed, sent (can already be done, but not separate) 7) all of the above by "aging" ( <30 30-50, 60-90, 90-120, >120) 8) total GV by customer and of course the ability to send an e-mail to any "aged" group reminding them that they have GV and that they should be shopping at the store. :-) Why the reports... 1) so I know what I have to be able to cover (the amount that should be in the account) 2) So I can follow up and get them to the store 3) So I know who is hoarding and so I can contact them and get them to be a sale 4) see 3 5 and 6) as separate reports (currently this is the only report) 7) Very important. The longer the "money sits there" the more I make off it, But I would rather have these customers. It would be nice to be able to remind them that I'm sitting on their cash. 8) who are the big GV users Why is GV so important to me? Because I have hooked the OSC Affiliates mod into my store, and have set it up so that the payouts are in GV (this is a mod to Affiliates that I hope to release as soon as I complete the last part, generating the GV rather than paying paypal or writting checks, the rest of the mod (only allowing members to sign up as affiliates and pre-filling the form fields with thier member record) has already been completed).
