Please someone answer ..... you all must have set yours up and would be so grateful for your help..... thanks what version of oscommerce are you running? I am not a professional webmaster or PHP coder by background or training but I will try to help as best I can. I remember what it was like when I first started with osC. It can be overwhelming. However, I strongly recommend considering hiring a professional for extensive site modifications, site cleaning, etc. There are several good pros here on osCommerce. Look around, you'll figure out who they are.
multimixer Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 Find them in folder [catalog]/includes/languages/english (or your language eg italian) Filenames are: shipping.php conditions.php privacy.php Folder /catalog/ may exist or not depending on your installation, if you don't have such a folder, just ignore it and follow the path from there on My community profile | Template system for osCommerce - New: Responsive | Feedback channel
Indulgence Posted November 18, 2012 Author Posted November 18, 2012 Hi thanks... did that... and it opened in DW.. and had to speak to the server lot and they said to up load and now it has uploaded it... but as a blank page with just the writing and no cart... oh this is driving me nuts.... it can't be that hard ......why am I finding this so difficult.? I just want to insert the details and hey presto there... but now it is messed up.... *sigh*
Guest Posted November 18, 2012 Posted November 18, 2012 @@Indulgence DO NOT USE Dreamweaver or any other WYSIWYG editor when opening PHP files. Those programs leave hidden characters or header formatting information when you save them, this causes the 'blank page' you are talking about. Use a text editor such as Notepad++ or Editplus+ to open and edit PHP files. Chris
