What happened to my header Shortcuts ??

After I updated Google Chrome my header Shortcuts is not in a row ....

Look at www.t-horse.dk

The header Shortcuts are fine in Explorer ...

Your store logo CANNOT exceed 257px in width or 60px in height without making code edits to allow for additional room. Your logo is currently 510 x 100 which will cause the header links to push to the right, especially so when someone logs in because an additional link then appears in the header.

The problem is also with Chrome on the Live Demo of oscommerve 2.33

I have the lastest Chrome running and my 2.3.3 shops are showing the header shortcuts correctly. To follow up on Chris' comment above, I had header short cut issues before, coming from a logo size issue and then font sizes i changed in css. My solution to that which worked for me was to widen the shop and work a bit with padding in css if that helps

visiting multimixers site i zoomed in and out, the issue would correct itself zooming out to 110% trying this out on my sites, i found the problem happening when viewed at 100% zoom on chrome. so thank you for bringing this up.

 

i changed my css in this file: /ext/jquery/ui/custom-theme/jquery-ui-1.9.1.css, around line 71 to adjust the padding of this element and it seems to have fixed the matter for me.

 

but i am not an expert in these matters so i am going to keep an eye on this topic to see what the professionals have to say.

I don´t have the custom-theme/jquery-ui-1.9.1.css in 2.3.1, bot thx altoid for trying and you are right, if I set the zoom to 90% my site is ok .....

my jquery css is custom and specific to my shop, your shop should have something similar, (but not named the same) that does the same thing action for your shop. for example yours may end with something other than 1.9.1

 

here's the line i altered in my css to get that to work for me on this issue

I don't think that's the correct file? What's the file name showing as there? Is there anything else, like a folder, in the same directory level?

that's the javascript file, for what i did you need the .css file which is in a folder, usually named by the theme you have in your shop.

 

but with my "i am not an expert" disclaimer here, it's possible the reason the fix you tried is that you are not running the most current version of jquery ui. outdated versions can cause issues, i've had that happen to me.

 

so i think you should update your jquery ui and theme files first, and see what happens from there.

anyway, if you do that upgrade post here if the 1.9.1 upgrade + the recommend fix works for you.

 

i am going to do gergelys fix too, it's probably the better way to go. but since i have my sites temporarily patched up it's down on my to do list for now.

I tried to update but it look not okay ... the button background were missing . :(

i was doing some other site work today so i moved this up on my to do list. gergleys' fix (link above) works for me.

 

his fix is a better way to go because it should be once and done. what i came up with works, but each time i do a jquery update, i'd have to go back in and modify the css file again
