Default path

Hey,

 

I want to change the default path of oscommerce i.e index.php to index1.php.

 

When I open the site www.mydomain.com then it should show index1.php default but right now its showing index.php.

 

Please help me n if you have any idea then share it.Its just about path change.

 

I changed the configure.php paths,filenames.php.But no result.

 

I also tried it by another way.Changed the index.php name to index1.php and index1 to index.It shows the main page but some of the links are not working.I just want to put a landing page for my domain at first and after that the default pages of oscommerce should be shown up..

Before discussing how to rename the index.php to something else, what are you trying to accomplish? The name "index.php" is rather hard wired into osC, so it's not easy to change. If you're having a conflict with another index.php, it means you should have installed osC into its own directory, rather than in the site root.

i have a site developed with oscommerce. www.andrejewelrycollection.com

In this we changed the hosting server last week..

I found that now the internal pages are not working fine..

In this website we are using Php pages too..

These PHP pages are working fine..

But the oscommerce pages are not working fine..

While opening it shows not found error..

would u plz help me?

It appears you have SEO URL's installed, check the .htaccess file to ensure the path is correct. Also, check the /includes/configure.php file to ensure it is correct and empty any cache from the database.

Would u plz let me know how to do changes in htaccess...

 

In this website, we are using some php pages too..

 

The php pages are working fine..

But the oscommerce pages only not found..

 

Please explain me in detail.. I would be very much thankful to you..
