bigbob2 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 I have upgraded from a modified template of 2.3.1, to 2.3.2, then to 2.3.3 and since then, in Admin, any page that shows the price (specials, priduct page etc.) shows the price as 0. That is to say that if I click on a product from the list, ti shows as 0, but if I go to edit the product details, it shows the correct price on the editing page. The site still works and shows pricing correctly, but something has gone wrong. Can anyone point me towards the page that may be at fault? I can then track back through the updates to that page and see where it failed. Cheers Kev
♥joli1811 Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 Hi, I would first check admin/categories.php regards John To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.
bigbob2 Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 Hi, I would first check admin/categories.php regards John Thanks John, but unfortunately that was not it. I tried replacing my old admin/categories.php and it did not bring the prices back. Any other ideas where to look? Cheers Kev

Updating from previous versions really doesn't effect the currencies, but the ZERO price is known to be caused by not setting a default currency. Chris

Updating from previous versions really doesn't effect the currencies, but the ZERO price is known to be caused by not setting a default currency. Chris Hmmm, thanks Chris. That was the problem, but now I am more confused. We are in New Zealand, and we only use one currency on our site, NZD. On our old install of 2.2, we had to change the code in localization>>currencies to USD to get the prices to show up on the customer side of the web site. With this 2.3.3 install, we did the same and it makes the prices show on the web site, but not in admin, however if I change the New Zealand code from USD to NZD, then the prices appear in admin, but change to zero on the web site. What am I missing? Cheers Kev
bigbob2 Posted October 26, 2012 Author Posted October 26, 2012 The easy way around it seems to be to set NZD as the default and also have USD but set them both with a value of 1. That way the front end uses the USD and the admin uses the NZD and it all seems to work. Kev
Guest Posted October 26, 2012 Posted October 26, 2012 @@bigbob2 Yes, I have read other users have had similar issues with NON USD sites. It appears that USD must remain enabled but does not necessarily have to be the default currency. Chris
