hfan33
The state tax is showing up with the price of the product, but it is not being factored into the total. I already looked at my admin -> modules -> order total settings, and I have a green light on tax. Now what? Someone must know how to resolve this. Don't we all have taxes? Please help!!! hfan33
I did this. My tax is all set up. It just does not want to compute into the total. When the product is listed, I see the sub total, the tax, the shipping charge, and the total. But the total does not have the tax factored in. And it is not being charged on the card. Ian
Are you sure you don't have 'display_price_with_tax' set to true. For example. You create a product in admin with price of 200. Your tax is 10% This product will show in catalog with price of 220. At checkout confirmation you will have sub-total = 220.00 Tax = 20.00 Total = 220.00 Note the total does include the tax. The tax line is for informational purpose only. (To show the amount of tax included in the sub-total) Trust me, I'm an Accountant.
hfan33
you know what? You're right. That's confusing though how it's set up like that. I'm willing to bet I'm not the first to get that confused. Thanks for your help. Henry Fan www.webolution.com
