Already listed products

Hey I'm new to this program and when I loaded it onto my website it already had products listed for sale on it. Are these for sell by some company, are they just an example for me, or what are they? I don't want someone clicking one and expecting an order when they are just there as a 'display' for me to show off how the site is supposed to work.

 

Also, is there any way I can call a company and get there premission and have them give me a link or something that will stock my store with their products]

 

and if so would I gain commisions on all items sold or is that even possible?

The default products are SAMPLE products only. You can contact a supplier and upload images, descriptions and prices once the supplier provides you with that information.

Ok thank you for your responses. Is there any way to have a company import their entire inventory at once or in an easy way?

If your supplier can provide a .csv file of their products, you could use Easy Populate to bulk load the products to osCommerce.
