Order Process Email issue &pound to £

I've tested my first orders and the Order Process email shows £ instead of £. How do I fix this (charset issue?) WITHOUT messing up the £ signs in the main OSC site?

When you entered the currency symbol as an HTML entity, did you include the semicolon: £ ?
