Email from user side not working

I have a fresh install of osCommerce and email that is sent from the admin side works perfectly - but emails sent from the user side does not. This includes order confirmations, contact us, password reminders. I am getting this error:

 

Warning: mail() [function.mail]: SMTP server response: 501 5.5.4 Invalid Address in D:\wamp\www\finished_goods\catalog\includes\classes\email.php on line 520

 

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated,
