How Do You Change The Picture Dimensions?

Every Time I Upload Some Of My Product Pictures, They Go Out Of Focus.

 

I Have Tried To Shrink Them But They Just Went Completely Out Of Focus.

Image dimensions are controlled (for the most part) from admin>> configuration>> images

There is an addon here http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/8495 that may help if you are having trouble with the small thumbnail images. Failing that try creating a large and a small product image and upload them accordingly when creating a product. It is always better to create images to the correct size without letting the browser do it for you. Creating a thumbnail image will also reduce the page load times.

 

You can also only enter a height or a width for an image size in your admin - images area. If you want to resize all images by a width, ensure you leave the height blank. Images will then only be scaled by the width, and not forced to a different size using the height.

I list many different items on my site . Therefor I must use different size pictures to get a true representation of them. To do this I have removed the size settings in the administration , images,

To do this you simply go to images size and edit both out.

Now the pictures upload to the size you make them.
