Os Commerce question

A same similar design is certainly possible, I would take the chance to do some improvements here and there, but yes, possible of course

Regarding database, not sure if you'll get it from them? Do you have any direct database access via phpMyAdmin or something, or do you have any database backups on your computer?

You should be able to take either a backup (.sql) file or a CSV (.csv) file from your current store, and massage it to something acceptable to osCommerce (right tables, right field names, right data). It might be more than a simple session with an editor, though, to rearrange the data and synthesize anything missing. A look at osC's oscommerce.sql file, to see the table definitions and sample store data, could give you an idea of how big a task this is (compare it to an .sql backup of your current store's database).
