OSC with existing user database?

Osc has 2 files relating to customers, one called customers and the other address book.

So as Steve said you will have to check if you have the info required in osc in your current files. If you have addresses in more than one county it gets more complicated.

If you understand mysql you should be able to import data from an existing site but will need to ensure each address book records "point" to the correct customer.

Depending how paswords are encoded on your current site and on OSC you might be able to retain these. A test will enable you to see if you can.

Otherwise a password can be generated as the customer is stored and an email sent to the customer letting them know the new password.
