Hi Everyone.

We're excited to announce that we've developed an m-commerce add-on for osCommerce.

The MobiCart / osCommerce add-on will enable you to offer your osCommerce store on a range of mobile devices. MobiCart supports native iPhone, iPad and Android apps as well as HTML5 web apps.

We've added the connector to the osCommerce add-ons directory which can be found below:

The connection bridge is needed to sync your osCommerce store with MobiCart. It is not actually software as such, it's just needed in order to make our two platforms work together.

 

MobiCart is a SaaS platform so no source code is available. All connections are made via our API.

Hi Jim,

Sorry, I should have been more clear. If you look at the osCommerce / MobiCart connector as a whole project, the connection bridge which is included in the download (2 PHP files) represents around 10%. These 2 files are just there to enable a connection, customising these files won't do anything apart from stop the connection from working.

However, what you can also do is build your own connector using our API. This will enable you to really customise what you import and also offers the possibility of pushing data like stock and order information back to osCommerce.

Hi Everyone,

We've just launched a brand new MobiCart / osCommerce connector which now supports product imports as well as pushing back orders from MobiCart to osCommerce.

The new connector is also now pre-installed inside the MobiCart admin panel under the 'Cart Synchronisation tab. Just select osCommerce to get started.

The add-on has been updated in the osCommerce community add-ons section which you can find below:

We've also busy working on MobiCart v2 which is going to be quite special. A feature list as well as screenshots can be found below:
