Editing the main part of the site- not cart

You are using a template so any replies you get will be educated guesses. So, my guess is, you have a column box added to the left column which is linked to your blog. Find the box, edit it. If you are just looking to edit the text 'Diary of a housewife', a properly coded site would have that text defined in a language file presumably in the /includes/english/ sub-directory. If you are trying to replace/ edit the image, a properly coded template would have the image located in the /images/ sub-directory.

Thanks so much for your response... I have looked their and of course no such luck. I also went to - includes/left_column.php and it is not there....

you say- " If you are just looking to edit the text 'Diary of a housewife', a properly coded site would have that text defined in a language file presumably in the /includes/english/ sub-directory" and alas... no sub-directory in their...

I did find the area that the "box" that says Diary is located-- but weirdly not the text line..... it is the following- does this help us to sort it out.--- Thanks again~

This line:

$info_box_contents[] = array('text' => BOX_HEADING_DIARY);

would suggest the text is pulled from the database which, under normal circumstances mean that the text is entered in the admin area somewhere. I would say look at your osCommerce admin area for that text. Perhaps under the banner manager ????? (just a guess)

I checked there an no luck. Thanks for all your advice! If you have any other guesses feel free to let me know. Much appreicated!

look in

includes/boxes folder and see if you can find the box file for that particular one.

or try includes/languages/english.php

since you are on an older oscommerce, you need to look for where your box headings are being defined.

its might be in that english.php file.

according to this video here:
