Anyway to make items with drop down selections?

in my out of the box install, I can add a product, there are no 'attributes' and it forces you to enter a stock qty

so unless they have an add on, to allow variables such as size and color, it won't work for what I need

then if there's an add on, there's still the stock issue

seems like the script is trying to do too much

at this point I think it's just make one simple HTML page for each item we stock, then use good old paypal to have a button showing all the colors and sizes

inventory isn't a concern for us, we stock all the items and reorder when low, so it's just replace items sold

seems like the script is just trying to do too much and is too rigid

thanks

Maybe you should invest a bit more time to understand how things work, before judging the "script"

You can add as many attributes as you like to each product, they will appear as a dropdown on the product info page, take a look at the demo store

From there on there are adons to have a stock control per attribute (eg color, size etc) or to have various types of options (like checkboxes, text input fields etc)

A simple html page per product? Yes, why not, if you don't have more than 10 or so of them
