davidstummer Posted March 27, 2003 Share Posted March 27, 2003 i have just downloaded and installed an apache webserver, and i am trying to install os commerce (www.oscommerce.com). however, when i try to install it (http://localhost/catalog/install/index.php), the following message occurs: FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it! does anyone know what this means (i am a newbie) i would very much appreciate any relies, thankyou! dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mattice Posted March 27, 2003 Share Posted March 27, 2003 Yes. It means you have to set register_globals in your php.ini file to ON where it is now OFF. This is needed for osCommerce to run properly.
