Easy CSV Import contribution

Recommended Posts

I have followed the instructions to install the easy csv import add-on but I cannot seem to see the option in the tools box.... here are the instructions I followed...

Just copy the following files:

the /admin/csv_import/csv folder must have write permissions

if you want a menu item in administration->tools just add the following line to /admin/includes/boxes/tools.php

'<a href="' . tep_href_link('csv_import.php') . '" class="menuBoxContentLink">Excel/Calc Import</a><br>' .

I've attached a screenshot of the tools.php file I have edited as stated above, I'm not too clever on php so I'm not sure if I have added it in the correct place

Any help is appreciated.

....Well I managed to get it installed properly but now all the .csv format file I have is greyed out and I'm unable to select it

I'd actually like to know if this add-on really works?

Has anyone used it?

That Addon is for osCommerce 2.2x. Is that what you installed it on? If so, exactly which 2.2 version are you running? If you tried to install this on 2.3.1, it won't work unless you update it.

See my profile for a list of my addons and ways to get support.
