hello support,

i have default buttons for oscommerce 2.3. recently i decided to change the format for them.

i am going to themeroller and presently working with that.

whem i download a theme and apply it to my site i can not get the same color as in the themeroller site for

the certain format i pick, even though i have set the opacity to 100 per cent. i use darkblue and i get a kind of light purple.

another problem is my buynow buttons have different for the rest of the buttons.

and the buttons revert back to the default in SSL layer(https) section of my web.

any comments or advice is more than welcome.

thanks,

craig

I am not sure, but you may be talking about some of the buttons being classed as primary, like the checkout button. This is standard in oscommerce 2.3.1.

REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP

hello,

whem i download a theme and apply it to my site i can not get the same color as in the themeroller site for

the certain format i pick, even though i have set the opacity to 100 per cent. i use darkblue and i get a kind of light purple.

below line 82 in the new themeroller named jquery-ui-1.8.6.css change the opacity and alpha from .7 and 70 to 1.0 and 100

took care of faded colors.

.ui-priority-secondary, .ui-widget-content .ui-priority-secondary,  .ui-widget-header .ui-priority-secondary { opacity: 1.0; filter:Alpha(Opacity=100); font-weight: normal; }

Next: on line 404 in same css file. i added color for my text and in line 405 i added the hover color to match the buy now button with the cart contents, checkout and my account buttons in the header--theme,

.ui-button .ui-button-text { display: block; line-height: 1.4; color:white;  }
.ui-button .ui-button-text:hover { display: block; line-height: 1.4; color:#CCFFFF;  }

another problem is my buynow buttons have different for the rest of the buttons.

Lastly, before there was something wrong now all my buttons in ssl area or (https) are picking up the theme from the css file.

and the buttons revert back to the default in SSL layer(https) section of my web.

anyway i posted my solution if anybody has the same problem with faded colors on imported themeroller styles, this worked for me.

thanks,

craig
