Guest
I am in the closing stags of my shop and have been getting a few people to test it whilst i look over there shoulders. I notice that every single time when they click add to cart, they do not click update cart after they have entered their quantity! All are baffled when they go to the next page (be it checkout or continue shopping) that they have still only got 1 of the products they just thought they bought 400 of!! some actually got angry ;o) Is there a way of typing the quantity after clicking add to cart, then having osc rememeber the quantity without having to update cart? Just a thought ;o)
smiley
Angry customers don't buy much! As a work around I added at about line 168 to: catalog/shopping_cart.php * To continue shopping select from the categories on your left.
* You may change the number of products or remove products and click update (below).
* To buy now click checkout (below). In this example I've made the update stand out. :) HTH Neil Common sense is genius dressed in working clothes. Ralph Waldo Emerson

Guest
Great observation skills.. hopefully you will continue tracking closely to dig up the hidden possibilities for income in the data from your site, a good tool to see what is drawing interest on your site is the 'Products Viewed' Report in your Admin panel, it will show you what people are really interested in on your site, one thing you also ought to consider is adding a good quality stats system to your site like Urchin or Webalizer to really dig and see what pages are most interesting, what the traffic flow is, where people are really coming into your site at, and what pages make them flee. There is a wealth of hidden information in your log files, use good tools and your great observation skills to identify the patterns to improve your profitability, and don't miss the forest for the trees.
