Guest
I am using OCS 2.2 from 3/5/03 and installed USPS Methods v2.4 Im shipping a CD that weighs less than a pound. The 'Express Overnight' for US is coming up at $25 or so. It should be about $15. Does the USPS production server know how much my item weighs? If not, how do I make sure it knows? Thanks! Guest
You mentioned, 'check your tare weight' ? What is 'tare'? My handling fee is $1.00 How do I tell USPS my weight for the various items being sold? You would think that would be a major factor in deciding what to charge. Thanks! Ajeh
Under the My Store ... Shipping/Packaging is the Tare weight. Basically the weight of the packaging materials and box. This is added to the products_weight to produce the proper weight for shipping charges. So, a 1 lb product with a 3lb Tare weight is 4lbs.
