Guest
I am currently working on a GiftWrap Module for osC and for the cummunity. I have been through the Forum and followed the few suggestions that i found, but none was REALLY a true GiftWrap Module solution. I thought it was time to do something about that. So basically, I almost done with the new GiftWrap module... :D but I'm stuck at checkout_confirmation.php. :x I am sucessfully showing and selecting the GiftWrap selection on checkout_shipping, but when I get to checkout_confirmation, GiftWrap is not displayed in the Order Total. No errors appear, but neither does the cost for GiftWrap. Anyone feel like taking a crack at it? I could really use an extra set of eyes. I'm almost there. Thanks. -R
Philster
I'd LOVE a giftwrap module... But I wouldn't really have a clue how to even begin building one... Hopefully some clever chaps out there will know... Phil
gdfwilliams
Randy, Could you post or provide a link to what you've finished? - Greg
Guest
Here's a link to the site... http://66.250.128.182/~admin10/catalog The site is nowhere near done, but you can select a product and work through the checkout process. Since the site isn't live, anything purchased will not be shipped or charged. The GiftWrap module is still VERY rough and I have not cleaned it up yet. I want to get it functional before I clean it up. On the checkout_shipping page, you will see a new box area for Giftwrap. Choose the GiftWrap option and continue. Let me know what you think. -R
Guest
Okay... I'm stuck. I've been in and out of these files so many times... everything looks right, but its not. Damn... I'm so close. I need help finishing this GiftWrap contribution. Anyone that knows the osC Checkout Process fairly well and has dealt with new Modules and Classes... I could really use your expertise. When Christmas comes around (its just over 8 months away!) and everyone starts asking about GiftWrap for their orders... Well???? C'mon everyone, lets make this work! Thanks -R
sgflowers
one suggestion use a check box instead of a radio button and default it so that it is on cleaner looking
Guest
A CheckBox selection is a great idea. Unfortunately, cosmetics are irrelevant if I can't get the GiftWrap Cost to be included with the Order Total. I'll keep at it, but I could really use some help. Thanks. -R
