Huffd Posted March 22, 2003 Share Posted March 22, 2003 I saw a similar thread (that went from September last year until last month) but due to current economic trends I think it is pretty important to keep in the forefront. Personally, I rarely do any business with an internet site that requires me to register or enter any type of personal information (except zipcode) just to get the shipping cost or subtotal of the shopping cart. I recently made a purchase at this storefront that uses a comercial shipping module (not intershipper): http://asenashop.com/mcat.php This is as slick as anything I've seen and really wish someone could contribute something like this but it really wouldn't need to be anything more than a page that requests your zipcode and method of shipment after the item is selected and before the cart is shown. Of course the berries would be if shipping for all of the items in the cart were totaled in the subtotal. Possibly something like the checkout_shipping.php script would appear with a place to enter the zipcode then they (all cart item shipping amounts) would be sumed and accumulated on the shopping_cart.php page.
