american customer

Hi

I use oscommerce 2.3.1

A customer of mine in America was having trouble on my website, she registered all ok but when going through the checkour process, she was getting a error to do with the address he had registered with

She put in OH short for Ohio, is that why she was having trouble with it not letting her checkout

Does oscommerce not like abbreviations

Kind Regards

Ian

@@ianhaney,

The abreviation should not make a difference as the website does not check to see if the shipping address is valid or not unless you are using a real-time shipping quote contribution. If that is the case, then yes the abbreviate could make a difference.

The actual fault is that the customer address entered on your site does not match the address given to paypal

If you change the following in your includes/modul;es/payment/paypal_standard.php

Find

$parameters['address_override'] = '1';

and change to

$parameters['address_override'] = '0';

There may be similar code in other paypal modules. Try this and see if it works.

REMEMBER BACKUP, BACKUP AND BACKUP
