I'm so confused....

I've been using OSC for about a year now, and finally upgraded to the Milestone 1 release. I love the new features, but am a bit confused about one thing. Why would my shipping options not show up anymore? I have both the free download and Flat Rate shipping options selected, but no matter what combination of products I use (I have both free and paid products on my site), it ALWAYS skips the shipping selection page.

On a side note....somehow I was able to bypass PayPal while using the paypal payment option and go directly to download for paid products...not sure how I managed that, but at least I was able to fix it!

Thank you in advance for your help in this matter....

I went to create an account and got:

Parse error: parse error, expecting `')'' in /usr/home/nsgr/www.stonegarden.net/htdocs/create_account.php on line 270

Not sure if you have an error in your configure.php file or are working on the site.

Linda,

I'm sad to say it was....and I spent the better part of the evening toying with it to edit out a few things. I finally got it to work around midnight, but the shipping continues to be a problem and comes on and off. I'm looking to see what might be triggering that.

I also wanted to personally thank you for all your hard work, as I use a NUMBER of your contributions, and without you and others like you OSC wouldn't be the great product that it is.

Some nights ... the code just frustrates the mind ... and usually for something very simple.

I have had those nights where a simple spelling error on a variable has left me pulling my hair out for hours.

I am much better at those typos than I once was ... fortunately. But that just means I can see them and fix them faster. I still make them ... :D

When it gets this bad, I put it up and go to bed. Then I come back to it the next day, and magic happends, I find the error right off. This works too, with problem solving. I could spend hours trying to figure something out. Go to bed and the solution would just pop into my mind. I solve a lot of my woodworking problems this way. In short, sometimes it is better to take a break and deal with it later.

Not bad plan to tell you the truth ... a lot of times I go out for a smoke or run the problem against my mom ... a totally none computer person, but willing to listen to me explain an issue and she asks good questions and makes suggestions that might trigger the answer.

A lot of the Add-ons have little extra bells and whistles because in talking to her ... I finally saw how to do something a better way or realized I left something out to make it easier to use etc.

Aside from installing sometimes being a bear ... I do hope using these Add-ons that I create is simple enough to do ... :D
