Guest Posted March 21, 2003 Share Posted March 21, 2003 I would like to see a module where a department head would have to approve an order that had been placed by someone under their supervision. I know that this has been done before on some popular office supply web sites - in fact, my girlfriend was in the position of approval. Any of the employees could order anything that they wanted from the office supply web site, but their order would pass through my girlfriend first. She would be able to authorize the order without any changes, or would be able to discuss with the employee that had placed the order and make sure that they really needed, for instance, that $300 electric stapler. If they didn't, she could alter the employee's order to something a little more realistic, if not dropping the item completely from the order.
