i have a couple of other things i need to sort out if you can point me in the right direction.

1st.

I wish to put a back groud image on my site but it will not work. the code is

body {

background-image : url('https://www.dcsstore.net.au/shop/images/skywithclouds.jpg');

background-repeat : no-repeat;

background-position : 50% 50%;

background-attachment : fixed;

color : #000000;

margin : 0;

font-size: 11px;

font-family: Lucida Grande, Lucida Sans, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;

}

2nd. I wish to install a addon that allows my customers to down load a pdf/word file with information on the products they wish to buy.

3rd. I would like to add the following to my product pages.

Buy Consumables/Assoiated ptroducts:

  • arrow.png Black Lanier SP1210N / 1200SF AIO Print Cartridge 2.6K Pages-Genuine
    Code:406838
    2600 Prints at 5% Coverage

    $83.94
    inc GST
  • arrow.png Drum Unit Lanier SP1210N / 1200SF Cartridge 12K Pages-Genuine
    Code:406841
    12000 Prints at 5% Coverage

    $131.95
    inc GST

with a quantity box and add to cart button next to the pricees along with a thumbnail before the discription.

any help with these things would be greatly apprecatied.

Regards Doug

You should be able to add a background image with this:

body {background: url(images/skywithclouds.jpg) no-repeat 50% 50%;}

No quotes are needed. Note however that unless the closing body tag is 'cleared' like so:

<div class="clear"></div>
</body>

The image will not display.

The cross-sell addon works just fine on the 2.3.1 stores I've added it to. You need to patch the files and not overwrite.

Also, we can't help when you just state "it didn't work." Try giving some information on the errors you see etc.

This didn't work jase the

<div class="clear"></div>
</body>

Dosen't exsist in the css sheet file in 2.3.1.

Not too sure where to put it so it works.
