Let's talk about SIDs

Basically I need to know what I have to install to get rid of them, WITHOUT jeopardizing being indexed by the search engines. I went to WannaBrowser & my site came up as having SIDs, even with the modified html_output.php file. If I install the robots.txt file with this help get rid of them? Where do I install the file? Should I turn the url friendly setting ON or OFF in my admin panel.

So many questions, I know. I have searched the forum & I have not found a post where it is spelled out in black & white exactly what I need (Go easy on me, I am new to all this stuff).

Thanks for all your help :)

Hi,

What store version are you using?

The latest development version of osc has the code in it to fix this problem.

If you use 2.2ms1 then check at cvs for the new updates.
