votrechien Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 Hi All, Today one of our SEO friendly URLs appears to have stopped working (although I'm an idiot about this stuff and it may be something else). We just switched servers so I think it may be related to do this. If you visit our website www.anchoring.com and click "checkout" it will return a "Page not found" error when it looks for checkout_shipping.html. If you try to load directly https://www.anchoring.com/checkout_shipping.php or https://www.anchoring.com/checkout_shipping.html it says not found, even though the files are present. Does anyone know what the problem is? Our webhost and programming team will be lookling into it, but due to time differences, not for a few hours. I'm hoping to have it resolved as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!
votrechien Posted January 6, 2012 Author Posted January 6, 2012 On second thought, it appears as though it may be an issue with the SSL ???
Guest Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 If you just changed servers, it could be a combination of both the SEO URLS and the SSL. You will need to clear the SEO URL cache from the database (if database is used to capture them) or clear the /cache directory if that is used for URLS. Also, ensure your SSL is configured properly on your server before enabling it on your osCommerce store. Chris
germ Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 Looks to me like you're on one of those servers that have folders for SSL and NON-SSL files and the SSL files are all missing. If you go to the https of the domain all you get is a "Domain Default page". If I suggest you edit any file(s) make a backup first - I'm not perfect and neither are you.
