osCommerce

The e-commerce.

How much would someone charge?

I need a price for a contribution.

Of course after developed and tested this contribution could be given freely.

I need a way to allow customers to login in and make an unknown dollar amount payment from an invoice received by snail-mail. I don't care if they enter 1.00 or 1,000 dollars.

The shipping_process can and should be skipped on this type of transaction. All other aspects of oscommerce should remain operable.

I would like the page layout similar to this.

-----------------------------------------------------

include header, column_left, column right

Billing Address: From customer_id as usual

Enter Account Number(shown on invoice)[Field 1:]

Amount to pay (shown on invoice)[Field 2:]

Payment Method: From Database as usual

Add Comments: As usual

include footer

All of this information should be passed along just like a normal product.

I'm not a programmer, so I don't know how difficult this would be, but I am learning.

Anyone interested please PM me.

I think I would call it Money Ticket.

Just create a product called Money Ticket Priced at $ 1.00 .. let the customer pay up x times the price to match the amount on snail-mailed invoice.

Just my 2c.

the only thing what i see from you is getting that posting amount up and if you are done with that ?

What will happen then ?

just my 2 poor cents

Robert

We all need to learn it once, how hard it may seem when you look at it, also you will master it someday ;)

just saying that that was a little obvious that we could

creat a one dollar product and tell someone to add

256 product to there cart for 256$

yes that would work

but does not look very professional .......

i believe he was looking for a page a customer could visit

and enter there amount and then pay it .

that would be the ideal solution .

That is exactly what I am willing to pay for.

I didn't know that it would be so difficult that no one so far has given a price for developing such a feature.

Again thanks to all who support this forum and my occasional questions.
