oxwivi
Currently, we only have zone-based shipping module and PayPal payment module activated. Regardless of whether or not I have an account registered with osC, I can Checkout with PayPal, but shipping charges are not taken into consideration at all. But if I use osC's built-in checkout, I'm eventually told that payment is only accepted using PayPal, and going through with it, the shipping charges are accounted for as postage and packaging on PayPal. As for the PayPal payment module, we activated API credentials and updated it accordingly. But it took the users to PayPal even when the details were missing. Would be cool if someone cleared it up. [i took a screenshot of the module settings as well, but I've reached attachment quota. Will upload in next post if anyone's interested] Since it appears more of a checkout issue to me, I'm posting this in General Support instead of Modules. oxwivi
Oh yes, I would like to allow PayPal credit/debit card payment when using osC checkout as well. If anyone would kindly instruct me... Here's the current settings of the PayPal module:
Xpajun
If you are talking about the "PayPal Express" button on each product page then, no, the shipping will not be added as it hasn't yet been applied to the order (it's only applied at the checkout stage, this is another of the faults of "PayPal Express" - the major one being that it encourages your customers to move away from your site after ordering just one item rather that browsing and adding to their cart and then checking out. For this reason alone I removed all "PayPal Express" buttons from my store. You may find that using the "Ship in Cart" addon may also add the shipping to PayPal... <EDIT> Cards payments are taken by PayPal once the customer arrives at their site, but depending on the mood PayPal is in they often require your customer to sign up for PayPal - something a lot of your custoomers will not want to do My store is currently running Phoenix 1.0.3.0 I'm currently working on 1.0.7.2 and hope to get it live before 1.0.8.0 arrives (maybe 🙄 ) I used to have a list of add-ons here but I've found that with the ones that supporters of Phoenix get any other add-ons are not really neccessary

If this can be remedied, I can do away with PayPal checkout.
oxwivi
Is this the addon you're talking about? It's the only addon that fits the name perfectly, but at the same time, I don't see how it's functions are going to help the issue in question.
