DavidR
I've found very little on this so it's time to ask for help. I am planning on using osC for a site to sell contact lenses. The standard format is to choose a type of lens and then select the Rx power for each eye. The problem is, each eye will have it's own box of lenses. I can place an attribute requesting left or right, then asking for the Rx, but this will force customers to repeat the process for each eye (not the way the other sites I have seen do this). The ideal setup would be for the product info page to include two rows of attributes, allowing the customer to order lenses for both eyes in one swoop. These selections, however, would need to change the quantity of the order, i.e. box of 30 lenses for left and box of 30 for right = 2 boxes. There will be instances when someone will only need to order lenses for the left or right eye, but mostly it will be both, so the selection on each row would be "none, left, right", then the Rx power for each. The product listing itself could be set up as usual, i.e. box of 30 lenses, $15. Does this make sense? I would be so happy if I could make this work. I would appreciate any suggestions. I am using MS1 on Linux/Apache. Thanks! David
Guest
Why not create 2 Product Options that are virtually the same. That way, 2 dropdown menus would appear. Each individual Product Option could have the same attributes, but one is label for left eye and the other is right eye. Each Option would have its own associated price. As for quantity, you could add a quantity box. Good Luck. -R
Christian Lescuyer
I don't really see how you can easily change the quantity depending on the products attributes. You can check Urbach Kontaktlinsen. I understand you've got to order two products if your eyes are different -- but my German is not that good  Christian Lescuyer
