imnict
I use US Mail and UPS. Presently, our catalog shows 15% or $5.00 min. unless it is lake pipes, hub caps or something long and then we tell them 25%. What would be the best way to configure oscommerce to handle our shipping? Now that we are using a payment gateway, we need to calculate shipping at checkout so that our customers don't have to be contacted after the sale for thier credit card again for shipping. chetankayastha
I think there are Contributions in osCommerce to manage it.
♥geoffreywalton
Have a look at this opne http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/1333 Failing that you will need to search the add-on for shipping and see if one there meets your needs. imnict
So it's been a while and I think this add-on will work - http://addons.oscommerce.com/info/305 I've installed the newest files but it doesn't calculate the per item shipping on the larger items as defined by the weight field. I've been looking at the older versions and the newest version doesn't have any manual modifications to other files that some of the older versions have. So this leads to my question - to install this correctly, do I have to install the oldest version first (which likely won't work in 2.3.3) and update to the newest through the different versions? My upgrade to the latest version of OSC is nearly complete, and this is the last piece to get it done. Thanks, John
