IMAGE DOES NOT EXIST - Can someone point me in the right direction?

Hello there,

 

I am new to osCommerce and has a brand new install running on my Localhost.

I have got to the point where I wanted to add a new product and cannot get the images to load.

 

I get the IMAGE DOES NOT EXISIT error message.

 

 

I have sized the images as 100x80 and saved them as .gif

 

I notice that I cannot even use existing images, supplied with the demo shop, in my new product.

 

The version I am using is : osCommerce Online Merchant v2.3.1

Rught cllick on the missing images and choose Properties (in IE) or image info (in FF) and see what the path is to the image. Then check your files to be sure the images are in that location.

Says the following...

The files I am trying to upload are in the following folder

WWW/PTV/ptv_shop/images/pneumax

 

Do I need to do something to configure osCommerce to look in this folder?

I have fixed it. It was a permissions thing. Setting them to 777 fixed the problem.
