HTS Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 Hi, I recently discovered a problem editing files in the define languages folder. I access this through the tools in admin panel /define languages and have been using this facility for years. These text in these files appear in the public area eg greeting at top of home page, shipping & returns, privacy notice etc For example if I try to edit text in index.php I get the following error message when I try to save: Warning: fopen(D:/webworld/henrystackleshop/henrystackleshop.com/www/includes/languages/english/index.php) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in D:\webworld\henrystackleshop\henrystackleshop.com\www\htsshop\define_language.php on line 36 Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in D:\webworld\henrystackleshop\henrystackleshop.com\www\htsshop\define_language.php on line 38 Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in D:\webworld\henrystackleshop\henrystackleshop.com\www\htsshop\define_language.php on line 39 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at D:\webworld\henrystackleshop\henrystackleshop.com\www\htsshop\define_language.php:36) in D:\webworld\henrystackleshop\henrystackleshop.com\www\htsshop\includes\functions\general.php on line 22 I suspect a permissions problem at the server but cant identify the exact location of the files. Any help would be appreciated. Henry
