Tax on order total

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am running osc 2.3.1. I want that in my invoice, the subtotal should show the total of the products without tax.

Tax should be computed on the subtotal and then added to it. How can i do that?

Example:

Subtotal: 1000

Tax (12.5%): 125

Shipping: 50

Total: 1725

How can I do that?

using oscommmerce admin panel --> modules --> order totals, set the following:

Sub-Total --- Sort Order 1

Shipping --- Sort Order 2

Tax --- Sort Order 3

Total --- Sort Order 4

Example:

Subtotal: 1000

Shipping: 50

Tax (12.5%): 131.25

Total: 1181.25

as in your example you had a tax free shipping.

Tax for me shows up in the Admin panel (Net vs. Gross), but I cannot get tax to show at all in the order totals on the shopping cart.

I've done Tax Zones and Tax Rates over and even tried deleting and installing the order total modules. I'm trying to figure other problems/settings to trouble shoot so would appreciate suggestions. I'm also using version 2.3.1.
