Can I set up a 'rental' payment option?

ok brand new to here and I've been looking for a provider that suits my needs. I was looking at magento go but they don't do recurring billing although I'm not even sure that's what I need anyway....

 

I am setting up a online business where customers can rent items. So the cost might be £x for 5 days, and then a further charge of £y per day after that. as it's a new business I don't have bank merchant accoutn so basically am going to have to use paypal express.

 

Is oscommerce gong to be any good to me? To make it more complicated I will need to take a deposit from them (for the value of the item) and then refund them when it is returned. I need to a website to be able to list all my products, the cusstomers can select which ones they want to rent, pay a deposit for the value of them, and then when they're returned the deposit is credited back to them (exactly like a normal rental shop at least here in the uk - it would normally be done on your credit card).

 

I also want to allow them to be able to buy (purchase) some items on the website at the same time.
