kuldeepkaundal Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Hi, I am using an old version of oscommerce on my site and when going through images folder at root directory of my site, i saw some malicious scripts like link.php, link1.php, link2.php and several others, i just want to know is there a way to find all those malicious files and remove them and also is there a way to make site more secure from those threats. FIMBLE Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Hi Look in the security forum there are two topics there about security, one is pinned the other near the top. Best practise is to delete the whole lot and replace with a known good back up, that said it appears not many DO keep a back up! So plan B is to either recreate your site with good code, or search line by line through each and every file to remove the code that will have been placed there. Once you do have it cleaned there are some great security add ons to prevent re-infection. But you MUST clear out ALL rouge code / files etc...
