lpranger Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 I have a question and would appreciate anyone's opinion. I am running an oscommerce store version 2.2-MS2. I want to upgrade and I was putting it off for too long. My question is what is the best upgrade path? Do I have to make the steps described to get to 2.2 2.3 etc. or can I install teh latest 3.02 and re-import the data. I am basically starting from scratch except for the product data and customer info. I haven't made too many addon and I am willing to reapply them if necessary. Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Guest Posted November 12, 2011 Posted November 12, 2011 Larry, There is no upgrade path from MS2 to v2.3.1. You would have to update from MS2 to RC1 to RC2a to 2.3.1 and quite frankly, it's not worth it. You would be better off to create a new site using v2.3.1 and then convert/import your database. Chris
