Hi,

I have a small problem with emails being sent by the site.

When somebody send email from contact us, the hebrew language is not showing up correctly (My site is in hebrew).

and also when someone is purchasing an item I am getting all the E-Mails without hebrew language support.

My question is, can someone show me what file(s) i need to edit and what I need to put for utf-8 support.

BTW: my site is working perfect with hebrew layout, rtl and everything. it's only the part that related to emails.

Thank you all.

modify the language file (located /includes/languages folder) and replace the encoding to utf-8

8 people out of 10 don't bother to read installation manuals. I can recommend: if you can't read the installation manual, don't bother to install any contribution yourself.

Before installing contribution or editing/updating/deleting any files, do the full backup, it will save to you & everyone here on the forum time to fix your issues.

This is what I have in my language file:

define('LANGUAGE_CURRENCY', 'ILS');

// Global entries for the <html> tag

define('HTML_PARAMS', 'dir="rtl" lang="he"');

// charset for web pages and emails

define('CHARSET', 'utf-8');

But still no luck, EVERYTHING works fine with my site as far as utf-8 BESIDE the email part like I mentioned in my post.

Thank you for you reply,

Do you have any other idea for me?

can be the server issue, as this encoding is overwritten by server settings
