CarlDavidRobinson Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 right this is reeeeally annoying me now, i havn't changed a thing on my website for a long time, i logged into the admin section the other day to check a few orders etc, we had a new order come through today, well atleast a notification of payment from paypal, so i tried to log in to the admin area so i could find out what the order was and i have been unable to log in all day! im the only one with access so its not anyone else being logged in or anything, but i did go into phpmyadmin and delete all admins so it would force me to create a new one when going to the log on page, which is does, it now asks me to create a user instead of login. yet same thing happens as when i tried to log in, it takes me to a page that says "406 - not acceptable" what the hell is this about? how can i go about logging in? also as its urgent i find out what the order was is the a quick way i can find out without logging in the admin section? all help will be greatly appreciated sooner the better! p.s i also deleted all my browsing history/cookies etc
Guest Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Carl, When truncating the administrators table to create a new admin username and password....you should always truncate the action_recorder and sessions table along with the administrators table and THEN log in to create a new admin username and password.
