Guest
Edith, I am not sure what you mean by connect the domain name to the site ..... I am assuming you have a hosting account and a domain name.....so, the domain name should be assigned to the hosting account. When you install osCommerce on your hosting account, it should then be ready to use. Chris

Guest
Edith, You can edit the path in the TWO configure.php files. /includes/configure.php /admin/includes/configure.php Chris
NodsDorf
In addition to what Chris said, you'll need to setup a forward from www.mydomain.com to www.mydomain.com/catalog or you can just install oscommerce to root (ie. www.mydomain.com) You can do this with .htaccess or most host allow you to do this inside your host cpanel. Guest
The .htaccess file is located in your stores root directory. If you have a Windows Server, you will not have one. Chris
