disallow certain types of payment when products are out of stock.

Hi,

I am wondering if any one knows of a way to disallow certain types of payment method, when the customer orders products that are out of stock.

I would like to have 2 payment methods:

 

1- when all purchased products are in stock - - - pay by credit card.

 

2 - when 1 or more products are out of stock - - - place order without paying - then we call them back to confirm delivery time and take payment over the phone.

 

We have both these options in place, but the customer has to select the correct option when prompted, and we would like this to be automatic.

 

If any one knows of an existing addon, or any advice on how this could be achieved if would be much appreciate.
