Issue with CHECK OUT button and PAYPAL BUTTON underneath

I phoned paypal and they said the CHECKOUT BUTTON needs to be removed so only the PAYPAL BUTTON SHOWS-

Otherwise it's like a fakeout where it looks like the payment goes through but it does not.

 

How can I remove the CHECKOUT button in the cart when it's time to pay,,, so only the PAYPAL LOGO stays?

Please help! I am losing sales.

You remove or comment out the code which calls that button in this file: shopping_cart.php

 

OR

 

You make sure that you have alternative payment methods so that a customer can use the cart checkout and pay for their order too.
