USPS Methods 2.6 to 6.1 (current)

Hello. We recently started working with a client who is running oscommerce. We're looking at upgrading the module mentioned in the topic from 2.6 to 6.1 to take advantage of the new functionality. My concerns are:

 

- Will moving from 2.6 to 6.1 be painless or am I in for pain?

- What is the best way to approach this upgrade (install one at a time from 2.6 to current)?

- Are there any known issues going this route, anything I'm missing?

 

I will confess we don't use osCommerce often so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Updating USPS methods is not an issue, but the version of osCommerce might be of concern.

Hello, Please help....I just move up from usps 3.x to usps 6.2 Somehow not all the Domestic shipping class is available??? Mainly is the Priority Flat Rate Envelope not show up. International is works perfectly. Below is what show up when check out. I choose some priority flat rate in the module config..Any help is appreciated.

edit the usps.php at \catalogs\includes\modules\shipping\

 

at the line #299

 

change the following to CAP LETTER

 

'Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope' => 'FLAT RATE ENVELOPE',
