Clicking on product redirects to another category

Hi,

 

I have a osCommerce 2.3.1 site.

1. If you click on a product on the home page, the page simply takes you to another category. It doesn't add anything to the cart either.
   
2. Clicking on the Buy Now button takes you to a page that says "Your Shopping Cart is empty!"
   

 

Any ideas?

Problem 1 sounds like a configuration setting problem check your includes/configuration.php is setup correctly. Additionally the ADD TO CART button should take you to a products page if the product has attributes because oscommerce can't pick a customers attributes (can't read their minds).

 

Problem 2: Sounds like a session or cookie issue, check your admin panel /configuration for options.
