Guest
I did an MSAR (Massive Search And Replace) on the entity and replaced it with an empty space. Would I break a lot of the osC formatting? There's seems to be a lot of non-breaking spaces intersparsed throughout the osC programming.
Ajeh
The character does several things: 1. Forces two things touched by it to be *stuck* together. Great for locking words or numbers/words together. Example: November 3, 1955 this will never allow that text to break on two lines. 2. Forces more than one space to appear as two spaces made by a spacebar are 1 space in HTML (try 10 spacebars and note you get 1 space on screen) Hence ... global replace is a bad idea ... 8)
Guest
Well, I know what it does HTML-wise. I'm trying to figure out what would happen if I did it to the osC code. What might be broken?
Ajeh
Basically the same thing ... php is creating HTML output as well as managing the actions of one page to the next.
